I was wondering if you would consider supporting not just myself and Penny but also another 106 property
owner's in our area of Spain. A lot of the owner's being pensioners including myself, who have their life savings invested in their properties.
On Boxing day ( nice festive present ) our next door neighbours in Las Huertas received notice that their building licences had been revoked, meaning that properties which have been fully legal for 12 years and now becoming illegal. That is like taking away the deeds to your home over here and telling you your home is being demolished. The next move from the Junta would be to serve demolition orders on our properties.
I have started a petition which hopefully will get enough support and can be handed over to the power's to be, i.e. our Government and the EU.
I have managed to contact our local MP and MEP'S but their cogs turn very slowly and time is of the essence.
Below are 2 links both equally as important as each other which if you don't mind could be passed onto your friends as well as I need lots of signings to make an impact on the EU.
Kind regards Tony.

Thanking you all for your support.

Tony, I've tried both the links and they don't work. They show no petition available. Can you repost correct links?
Good luck with your campaign Phil

Phil, try this one as Tony sent it to us in an email and it definitely worked.

Sorry Phil not sure what was wrong with those links. Have replaced it with a similar one that works.
Thanks John for helping out.

Another one on the Junta's hit list.

Thanks John for the link. Tony I've signed your petition. All the best with your cause, I hope you get redress in the end. Living in Spain is a dream a lot of British people aspire too. Your highlighting this injustice will hopefully help many others to the potential pitfalls of buying property in Spain.
Good luck Phil

We moan about laws and regulations in this country but at least we don't treat people like these tinpot countries like Spain do. I think this is an absolute disgrace and they are getting no help from either the EU or the UK. You can bet your bottom dollar if they were one eyed Albanian Lesbians they would be falling over each other to help. But because they are people who have worked hard to make a better life for themselves they are left to stew.
Please sign the petition.
