Hi All,
Has anyone ever changed ALL of their customers cleaning frequencies?
If so did you get any negative responses at all?
At the moment most of my customers are 8 weekly - I have some 12 weekly and 16 weekly.
My plan is to change all 8 weekly to 7 weekly and all 12 and 16 weekly to 14 weekly.
This will achieve 2 things...
1. Compact my working areas a bit more.
2. Increase yearly turnover.
I wouldn't tell anyone at all - I would just try doing it seamlessly.
Any feedback?
Andy ;)

they wont notice apart from the odd old dear ;)

Yeah, that's what I thought ;)

I'm surprised you have any customers at all to be honest.

7 seems like a weird frequency.
6 or 8 seems better.
-
They wont notice, I do it all the time and get no complaints.
My 8 weekly could mean 9 or 7.

I stole them all from you because you're rubbish!

Yeah it does... But any new customers I'll just say its every 7 / 8 weeks.

I changed from 4 weeks to 6 weeks without them knowing. I had too many customers to get round them in 4 weeks unless we had perfect cleaning weather.
I only had 1 old dear who used to 'track' me on her calendar. I figured that if times got bad, such as this recession and I lost a few, then I could slowly reduce their cleaning time interval and again say nothing.
I found with having the longer interval I got less 'can you leave them this time' remark.

Change all 8 to 6 weekly.

I made the same alteration to my cleaning interval that Mick made; 8 to 6 weekly and I didn't experience any problems as a consequence.

I change mine all the time
as I am never on time ;D ;D ;D

should have left them at 4 weeks and sold a third of your round

Would agree with Mick, I would change to 6 weekly. I'm 6 and 12 weekly but always getting held up with weather and other stuff so seriously considering changing to 5 and 10 weekly. Wayne.

Mine are 4 weekly, but I tell them it's between 3 to 4 weeks if I'm early, reason I give is to make up for when I am late to make up for bad weather, in actual fact this ensures I am never later than 4 weeks.

We tried changing ours from 4 weekly to weekly just to earn 4 times what we were but people noticed and complained after a couple of weeks.
Good while it lasted though ;)

We changed from 8weekly to 6 weekly, only had one customer complain,
