Off topic, sorry.

Tony, if you don't mind me asking; how to you adjust the temp of the water going to your brush as your heater seems to be missing the temp adjuster/s. These are the holes you have your bungee cords in.

Hi spruce

It's controlled electronically, it's a 9.6 kW but I can turn down to 4.8
So it's a thermo II one man system as I didn't find the thermo I man enough

I find this satisfactory for summer or winter use, hope that helps

Tony

Transporter t32 1.9 with a map, getting 620 miles a tank and have a 400 ltr system and trolly and barrels. Soon to be changing from 400 to a 500 tank, go to work fully loaded and has hardly dropped from empty, really good van.

Yer no problem,
I brought my T32 with the 1.9 engine, as with all of us fuel is quite a large bill so i though id go for the "Eco" engine,
it has a standard BHP of about 102-104 BHP which is fair to say a bit slow in somthing that can weigh upto 3.2 tons.
so i got in contact with Pendle Performance and they remapped it to about 150 Bhp but more importantly the torque it has now makes driving really quite good fun,
As with the MPG without my roof bars on i can regularly get over 600 miles too a tank and thats window cleaning E.G starting and stopping all day long which is the worse sort of driving for getting the most out of the tank  :)

best money iv spent since iv started.

About £250.00
and from totally empty about 85 pounds
I think from when I last worked it out that meant it was gettting
around 40MPG but i may be wrong

Ta. How long have you had it done?
I had my last car remapped.
Did have a lot more shove but after 20k the turbo started whistling.
Never had any problems with it at all but it did get irritating.
Just wondered if the vans did the same?

its spot on really, fairly high mileage but still perfectly reliable and should be for the future, there are a lot of companys that run far too much boost pressure or to high EGT's so could quite quickly cook a turbo.
but thats why i went for a recommended company.

Fair enough.
I had a Seat Leon 140 remapped to 180.
Got it done by elite remaps in Leeds.
Done at 20k started whistling at 60k sold at 80k
What mileage did yours have when you had it done? What's it got now?

Van was at mid 70s when mapped and now on 97 I think, just change the oil regularly and let it warm up before driving off. You can get a lot of "mappers" who just load a random file with to much boost pressure and it just blows the turbo apart. But things do go wrong I suppose.

Not got the car anymore.
I won't be mapping this one. Don't really need it.
Thanks for your experience.
