Title: Scrape marks on tarmac
Post by: Blast Away on February 16, 2014, 10:05:47 am
Had an enquiry from a filming company who have had horses on set which have created scrape marks on the tarmac with their hooves.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Permanent damage or can be removed?

Awaiting images.

Use Bitumen resin   NOT   bitumen emulsion .  It will just be shoe marks left on the surface.
Looks good for around 12 months depending on traffic

Wet a big fluffy roller with diesel and work it right over the surface - when the roller goes black keep going and that'll make the surface uniform again
