Thinking of purchasing chemical package from wold of clean( £43)...does anybody no if it would be suitable for my cfr eco 500?
CFR state only to use their products!

Its a marketing ploy , use what ever you want . even the other sample pack of marketing ploys .

It is a marketing ploy. The truth is you can use any chemicals and a starter package would be a good place to start.

My understanding of the CFR machines is use there in tank solution helps with the filter system and use a MS as pre spray.
David
ps best to ask the machine supplier.

If it is the cfr machine that recycles the cleaning solution then I would only use cfr chemicals, it's not the same as other portables which are generic
I would think WOCs microsplitter would be ok but cfr do a whole range of more specialised chemicals (deodorisers, enzymes, spotters etc) which are designed with the recycling method in mind.
It might be ok with Mpower and other stuff but if you have gone down the recycling route then I would stick with the whole cfr concept.

Hi Guys
I would agree with Mike, the chemicals have been designed for a particular process.
Any micro splitter, Pureclean is my preferred one will probably work but remember some contain enzymes and this may cause problems.

I think he could test any product he feels like using by puting a well dissolved diluted sample into the cleantank and recycling it into a bucket , then checking if it had any effect on flow or if any particles were affecting the finer filter .
I cant see a diluted product like formula 90 liquid for example which had no particles in suspension being any more likey to suddenly produce a sediment on the filter than Mpower or the Microsplitter marketed products .

I've been using Solutions products (especially M-Power) with a CFR machine for a long time now with no problems.
I've used other peoples' presprays as well.
The trick is to use common sense. Don't rely on the recycling seven times thing as gospel. If you peek inside and the water looks dirty, then change it. Don't expect it to work using sludge.

rinse in tank and whatever the type of environment your dealing with at the time as pre spray. having a good selection of surfactants will give you whats needed to emulsify
http://www.carpet-cleaning-buzz.com/all-you-need-to-know-about-detergents/
they recommend their products because unlike normal machines they dont have a high water cut off (ball type) so any foam can damage the vacs. they do have a switch in the tank for water but that will not stop foam.

Thanks guys
I will take all comments on board
