Usually this time of year can be quiet enough, but have to say the last three weeks have been the slowest in years.I have had two of my friends who also work as carpet cleaners ,one long established biz with three vans and no work today.Hope its just the crappy weather.Hows the year started for you?

Best January I've had.
Worst February I've had, only getting repeats and recommends, very few new enquirys
says it all. WEATHER

January was good enough and February (if no one cancels) is the best ive ever had and still room to get even better. roll on March.
-
January was OK.February is dreadful.Had 3 days with no work this week - luckily given me a chance to do some decorating.
Not even any price shoppers ringing :'(
-
We've had the busiest January since we started. Most people say they hsve been steady away.

Busiest ever , lots of eot , floods ,and a big fire .

Hi Jason, never really get into flood work.Where and what kind of training do you require.Do you canvass the insurance companies?
-
We had a very busy Dec, First two weeks in Jan steady, then lift off. Stacked rest of Jan and Feb. Got bookings already for the first week in March.

Training done at the national flood school , I advertise on adwords , and am in a few networks to get disaster work.
-
Thanks Jason...might look into that. How many days training and what kind of cost?

Surprisingly busy with pressure washing 2wks into 2014, eot slow, carpet/upholstery cleaning poor until now picking up a little, as said stroll on spring. thinking of taking our jolly hollys in jan/feb next year, rather than july.

The bloke next door to me used to own the local village pub he always organised a Christmas light committee and held meetings at the pub also organised morris dancers and bus trips to see the lights , his pub was always busy ;)
-
worst ever.
markets volumes are down some days as low as 50 a day impressions compared with an average of about 300 but the silver lining is switching to selling will have a positive affect once the market returns. might even be able to put my price up then? -)

Run up to xmas, was one of the worst I have had, jan and so far feb among the best I have had, mostly upholstery

There's a huge garden centre a couple of miles from us. They have a customer club that runs regular coach trips / excursions from there to various interesting places. A great way to keep customers.
