Just seen a new machine. Its a pressure washer mounted on top of a flat surface cleaner.Won't noise and fumes be a big problem?
-
I don't think you will feed it off a hose pipe...they seem to think you will.
-
I can see the appeal however you will be breathing in fumes all the time you are using it. At least with a standard to can tuck it away from your working area.
-
I think I know what you mean. I saw a gardener/landscaper type guy using one round my way not long before Xmas.
I'm guessing the engine and pump are only small though because I saw a guy at around 4 o'clock time and he had only just finished cleaning about 100m2 of block paving as the sun was setting. Although I have no idea what time he started, may not have been til late
I don't know how he set up, ie direct hosepipe feed or tank, I should have pulled over and said hello.

Is this the type of thing you are on about? if so have been around for a while

Hurricane combi P4

There you go you can now spend all day 3 ft away from your beloved Honda ! The pumps will be pluck'd very quickly unless you run a tank with a boost pump to feed the washer as it's rare to find 15 ltrs at the end of a hose
-
That Hurricane combi P4 looks ok but they must be having a laugh as list price quoted is £2399 :o
Think I would soon get peed off pushing it about and loading/unloading in to the back of me van on my own too.
-
Indeed as no way is that going to be able to run at 15lpm like they say just from a tap.

It will have a market as they say to the hirers, marinas etc. Your head would be lifting using that in such close proximity.
There again I suppose its the same a using a petrol lawnmower.
-
The max length of the feed hose it can work from is not that impressive either but like you say some ppl will hire them and they even might sell a few.

When I clean pontoons I use salt water which you would struggle to do with this. Can I come and watch when they try to do a drive on a slope. I think its a carp idea - it's probably going to be front page on smart deal or bettaware
