Title: Varistream switching itself on?

Just lately my varistream controller has been turning itself back on after I've turned it off! Had the same problem a couple of years ago but forgot what the cause was! This is very frustrating especially when it starts itself overnight! If I  remember I take battery leads off for now.
Any ideas?

ive had this before, i just cleaned all the terminals made sure their dry etc and it stopped the problem.

Check in case a cat got in your van while you were other side of the house.
