Title: Way too windy today for 65' high work
Post by: Harry Roberts on February 12, 2014, 02:38:19 pm
Well after getting into London with two hotels to clean I decided it was way too windy to put up my new extreme pole with 2 extensions on it.

Anyone else  put off by the wind??

I was struggling to control the pole at times one floor above ground level.  When it rained too, I gave up.  I do work in moderate rain and wind but I have my limits.

80ft-less than 10mph
50ft-less than 20mph
30ft-less than 30mph is about my maximums tbh.

Too windy to go outside today. It's been a constant battering all day, with hurricane force winds and a red alert right across Munster, the province where I live.

We've had trees blown down, tiles flying around, and I even watched my neighbour's guttering ripped clean off.
