Title: Since I changed my resin
Post by: Majestic on February 10, 2014, 05:39:13 pm
Having problems with the water flow.
I switch the pump on and it takes about 5 mins for the water to come out of the brush.
I switch it off and the water is still coming out.
Any one else had this

You may have air bubble, try taking the hose fitting off the hose that goes into the hose reel, turn on and let the water flow for a minute then put hose connector back on may help !!!! 👳👳👳

Let me know if it works, hope it does as its so annoying when these systems play up as we rely on them so much 👍

Possibility 1.  Resin in riser tube (less likely).
2.  Sounds daft but did you put something over the riser tube to stop resin getting in - then forget to remove it? :)
3. When replacing a fitting, you used a faulty one or damaged the original.
4.Kink in hose or pole hose?

Remedies.

1. Remove resin from tube and try again.

3. Replace the fittings one at a time.  Do it systematically.  Keep the originals in case this is not the problem and they are OK.

There are other things to check but they wouldn't relate to a resin change.

Don't know if it would cause the problem you describe but have you connected your inlet and outlet hoses the right way around?

Yes put cling film over tube and removed it after.
Tried putting water through it before I connected it in the van
Unwound the hose , that's ok
I tried another resin bottle and that's the same
