Title: Dragonfly Interior WFP
Post by: Steven White on February 10, 2014, 01:52:08 pm
I got this internal window cleaning job in a nightclub. It's both sides of these 6ft high plate glass windows aroung a VIP lounge that is above the dance floor and a mixing desk. I did it on a ladder and it was a nightmare and took far too long for  what I'm getting for it. So as it's once a week and with the possibility of getting similar work I'm going to invest in a Dragonfly Indoor WFP system. They come with or without the pole and presumably without the coiled hose that runs up the inside of the pole which avoids the loop trailing on the ground to the trigger, which I'm not particularly bothered about as my outside poles have it and I'm used to it.

I was wondering if I get it without the pole do they adapt to fit on a normal WFP pole (so I could go higher than the  20ft pole they supply and shave £1000 off the purchase price) ?

Anyone who has used this kit anything else you could tell me about how good it is would be appreciated.

dont know what poles you use but there is this
 http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/QuicK-LoQ-Taper-Adapter---Use-Traditional-Tools-QUICK_LOQ_VIKAN.html
that could be used with this http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/QUICK_LOQ_LONGARM.html
you could then attach it to any size pole you use. if the resineck adapter above is no good you could try a different adapter from here http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Quick-LoQ-Gooseneck-System.html. If you already use a gardiner pole then there should be no problem.

Ive got NTGXTEL17 glass fibre pole and a Bayersan 40ft carbon fibre pole. The problem seems to be the tubing is different (smaller) and it is only sold separately in 25ft lengths. There doesn't seem to be any kind of joiner if I get two lots, if I want to use the 40ft reach pole, which isn't a problem at the moment with the current job, but would be nice to know if I get a higher reach job in the future.

You can get an Easy shine adaptor at the Window Cleaning Warehouse which will suit any
pole with a German thread.
Don't go for a Dragonfly as its overpriced, all you need is the Easy shine and the adaptor for your pole.
Just spray a small amount of pure onto the pad. No more than a light mist.
Its very hard to get a smear free finish with all of these pad type cleaners, for best results don't let the pad get
too wet.
