Morning,
How much are you guys who have this type of thing paying per week/month?
And also what is included in the price,
Cheers,
Dean.

Morning Dean
We have a unit a bit bigger in size than a garage.
It's big enough to fit a 1000ltr IBC to purify water, store pressure
washers, gutter vacs and everything else we need.
It's on a farm, fully secure, costs £100 per month inc. electricity
we pay extra for water, approx £45 per month.
It's a good deal and we don't have any issues with freezing as well insulated.
I could do with office space now though.
I went round loads of farms asking people and got lucky, it's worth a try mate.

We have just got one.
Its 600 sq feet.
£3100 per year rent and about £1200 per year RV although as its our only unit we are hoping for full relief on that.
Its large enough for water production, plenty of equipment storage and has a small toilet/wash room. I have just finished building an office 2x3m and there is still room to park 1 transit and 1 vivaro overnight.

where do you find lovely affordable units like this ?
i dont know where to look

try your local council? We got one from our local council - full rate relief costs just under £600 a month but is big enough for now and the future and was in a really really good location FOR US. So its worth it to us. We can get 3 or 4 vans in plus water production and equipment - office is still run from home by me, but everything else it from the unit, a big scary (still is) step but it was needed as we had outgrown from home.

Plenty big enough for my tank and loads of other assorted kit with room to spare. Can't put a van in there. £138 a month (incl. a tiny amount of electric) + metered water (costs me about £25 - £30 a month). So maybe £1900 a year or thereabouts. Quite a chunk for a sole trader but I would struggle to get a better deal. Just have to factor it into the pricing.

We have about 900 square feet, approx. £6.5k per year (exc water, electric etc). Council units are definitely the cheaper option. If you don't need a huge amount of space a garage or let from local farmer etc will be way cheaper.

I've seen Tom-01's unit... It has flowery wallpaper, white lace doilies and pink fluffy cushions - It's very nice. ;)
Our unit is almost the size of a double garage... It's £100 per month plus electricity and water.
