Title: Hard water & Encap
Post by: Mike Halliday on February 04, 2014, 07:50:32 am
Does hard water have an adverse effect on Encap solutions?

Would adding Calgon powder or gel help the performance? Would using softened or reverse osmosis water be beneficial ?

Water around here is really hard, I can buy purified water from a window cleaning mate . Just wondering if it would increase the performance or I could decrease the dilution rate

Hard water will always effect cleaning performance to a degree as it will take up space in the water molecule and make the chem less efficient. Good product like Surround have built in water softeners that help but using softened water would also help.

Hi Mike,
Like your new website but just thought I'd tell you that you've spelt
Beverley wrong on your Commercial Driveway Cleaning section.
