Your cleaners are entitled to four weeks’ paid holiday each leave year. However, a week’s holiday means they get as many days off as they work in a normal working week. Because of this, the amount of paid holiday they get is equal to the number of days they work in four weeks. For example, if they work five days a week, they work twenty days in four weeks, so they get twenty days' paid holiday each leave year. If they work two days a week, they work eight days in four weeks so they get eight days’ paid holiday each leave year. The contract of employment you give them may entitle them to more(depends how generous you are) ;)
