Just been watching Sky news live from House of Commons.Noticed the wand marks on the carpets anyone on here clean them? What would you charge for a job like that & would you take your carpet groom along?

I think it's Chris Straker. Can't imagine him leaving marks though.

They do have a contract cleaning company in there, ironically KGB but they let me do carpets in residences & upholstery throughout. They have had issues with contract cleaners and I now get to clean public areas prior to Budget & state opening etc ....... when the whole world gets to see it at it's best  ;)

Oh and PS ....... I don't leave any marks ....... soil or wand type ....... or else I would have been replaced long before now and been there about 8 or so years now. Part of the reason I do public areas for special occasions, is that they seem to use crb & powder in many areas ..... hence the need for annual thorough extraction  ;)

Off there tomorrow morning, to clean twelve sofas & armchairs  ::)roll

After this was mentioned, I paid attention to carpets in building today ..... no wand or CRB marks noticed but plenty of pile distortion on the reception upholstery though. Managed to get rid of most of it, with normal brush down after extraction but did point it out as a fault from last cleaners  ;)

I'm sure you said thorough extraction! Not with that plastic thing :o

Mine is a Drimaster One, so sure it's not plastic  ::)roll ;D

My jobs increased once I got Jaguar 6.6 in there but maybe the results weren't noticed and it's just a coincidence  :P

Do a search on here mate. You'll find a lot of disgruntled owners/previous owners. There are a 1 or 2 exceptions though.

Personally I think you'd be better off spending your money on a more reliable, better looking machine. There are several on the market.

That took longer than I thought ......

If my clients were worried about more reliable & better looking ....... they would stop calling me in  :D

It's all a bit childish Radek. Just because you've got or had an issue with Solutions I don't see why you think it right to insult other people using their products. ???

Chris is a big boy he can take the banter in my case it is only a bit of fun but let's stay away from any mud slinging which may come next.

Simon you did not read my other posts about solutions or you can not remember. Do not want to take too much of my family time to say it all again. You know it is not only about my own experience.
Solutions childish aproach to their business needs some opposite childish approach. :)

Radek,
If you've got a problem with Solutions that's fine but do you really need to mention it every time the subject comes up? What I think is out of order is suggesting that anyone who does business with the guy is equally a muppet. I've had my run-ins with Nick over the years but since setting aside some pretty baseless opinions on him I have found him very helpful and the products he sells and the service he provides first class.

I only came on because I bumped into another CC and he said my name was mentioned. My reply to a question about My Jaguar, was not advertising, it was common decency and a well mannered response ....... something severely lacking from some on here !!
As Simon has said, we are all well aware of your opinions and gripes, on the subject of Solution UK and you are entitled to vent your spleen whenever you like but feel free to save it for a post that is actually on that subject.

Well I popped in for a look, realised why it has been so long and reminded myself of something ................ PARP  ;D

Simon, my opinion is my, and i will share it as much as possible as this is opened forum for all. Say your word as well, even opposite to my. As you can see you and hector and others always behind solutions when bad things around, if you think you can say good things about them I want to feel free to say bad words, somethimes good.

Chris, you right, save your advertising to the right subjects. You should not mention jag in here. I take your appologise.   ;D

The problem is Radek you start to be seen as a bit daft with a chip on your shoulder and any good post you will make will be lost in the rest of the drivel you write.

John Martin is heading in the same direction, in the end even the truth starts to get a bit boring and starts to look like drivel...... "jaguars  are crap".... "Microslitter are detergent"......blaa.....blaa....blaa....blaa

it's like the needle has got stuck ::)roll ::)roll

I think its about time we all grew up

Chris came on here could have provided interesting information but for some reason he is attacked.

and people keep going over old ground. The point is all suppliers are trying to do their best

How did i get brought into this   ;D
You might know jaguars are crap and microsplitters are just ancient detergent ingredients rebranded by snakeoil salesmen  ...  i know some of you were discussing this 10 years ago  , but plenty here and beyond are brainwashed to think they are some new revolutionary new technology .  I think its no harm to offer people another explanation or argument .

I am in Ireland, suppliers here do not have what I want. Need to deal with companys in UK.
Believe or not, all were nice and helpfull looking after me as far as they could help me with something.
Only one I found to be a black sheep. Bad marketing confusing customers and much much more. Look at them, after years in business they do 20% off all the chems and machines. Why? Are people getting away of them?

Mike, do I realy care about what you say? No! Everyone has own brain.

Radek, I've had problems with some suppliers, as have many, we don't bring it up every time they are mentioned though.
Seriously get over it, I can imagine you're the type of person who gets eaten up by the smallest of things against you. God forbid if something serious every happened to you.

Just let it go, it will make you a happier person, and like you said you can then spend more time with your family!

Hi Guys

Sunday entertainment.

Chris lobbed in the bait and Radek obliged.

Differences of opinion make a forum, it would be boring if we all agreed but as always we ask for politeness in our dealings with each other.

Cheers

Doug

Doug. No bait lobbed at all ........ I replied to a genuine question and did not mention the J word  :o
Simply the fact that I came on here and use products from someone that people dislike, was all the reason for the small minded to hop onto post and turn it into their own agenda ......... do me a favour & delete my profile, as I remember why I gave up being a moderator on here before  :-X

Chris , its not exactly a level playing field on the other forum though when machines are mentioned  ,  i remember the Enforcer thread not so long ago , entire thread was edited to make the Enforcer look as bad as possible not to mention the bias and sometimes wrong info provided by the forum regulars .
At least you are here to defend what you believe in ... most over there would be too chicken to debate the merits of machines or chemicals on a non censored forum  .

But we are not "over there" and the thread was not about Solutions, or the Jag or Nick or anything to do with "over there".

As Chris said, he was replying to a question , and a narrow minded numpty jumped all over the thread with aspersions about the other side.

We all know the said narrow minded numpties feelings about the other side, but there was absolutely no need for him to jump on this thread.

Because of this now, a lot of people are not going to get the benefit of Chris' experience, and cleaning wisdom, which is a great shame.
IMHO

Yes , i agree hopefully Chris will not leave  ...

However ,  while the other forum exists in its current form it is in full public view and creates an atmosphere of provocation which may manifest itself in actions such as this .    ;D

Sadly too common on forums like this where the majority of people using it are friendly and helpful only for a small minority to ruin it for all, they are nothing better than trolls, just ignore them and hopefully they will disappear when they realize no one cares about them.
