I have an amtico floor to clean, am I treating this the same as I would Karndean?
I was going to use Dr Schutz Secura Matt sealer again as I thought it was a fantastic product.
Anything to be wary of with these floors?
The kitchen area seems simple enough with just a clean and seal but the hall is a mahogany effect with lots of scratches, it's not been treated for 10 years. It has lots of light on it so shows up all the scratches, is it worth adding a little honing powder? If so what grit?
I was going to use a red pad and suitable cleaner/stripper.

All the Karndean & Amtico Specialists tell me 800 Grit Honing Powder is perfect for this application. But Jamie has the expertise in this field

Amtico and Karndean can be treated the same way.
You can use 400 grit honing powder on it if following with a matt sealer like Dr.Schutz.
If going for gloss finish to an 800 so not to show any marring.
Honing powder and a red or blue pad is a much better way of doing it than the traditional green or black pads.

Will post some pics later of one I did in Manchester last week with 100 grit when I get home.

It's part of a national contract for a Scottish company. I was doing the initial training with some local guys so they can complete the project over the year.
