Worth the money IMO. I have a Hannay reel which is very similar and is still going strong after 8 years. The old saying "you get what you pay for".

+1 on Hannay. Mines 10 years old now.
Only replaced the brake twice in that time (£15)

Your right.

It's just the thought of spending out £600 on hose reels! Ouch.

Why do you need 2?
I had back & side reels on an old van, put them in my last van, hardly ever used the side one.
Different if there's 2 of you working though...

I've got the same, back and side door.

There's some jobs where having it on the side door makes it so much easier. And a few days a week there is two of us working so we need it for then really.

I might settle for the standard pure freedom ones.

They look pretty sturdy. Good size for mounting in the van too.

15 replies over 300 views and no input from Dazmond.

Something is SERIOUSLY wrong!

What car has he got? Does he use extreme poles? Was it December or January for his record month?  :D :D

Mine was £220 including VAT and delivery.redashe koreel hi vis reel.from corwoods

this reel is awesome!very fast to reel in.very heavy duty.good for hot water but too heavy if your lugging it in and out of the van all the time.

Good if fixed in the van though! ;D
