No use for the wfp guys - but might help other ladder monkeys - like ME!!
Obviously no use for paving / tarmac but a low angle over bay w perfic
-
imo, the small diameter and length that these come out will have no effect whatsoever as ladder spikes, i would jiust let the ladder sink into the ground or have it footed
-
Yeah I cant see what the benefit of that will do?
Maybe really hard grass you could push them in, but a quick kick at the bottom does the trick

+1 unless its a like a bowling green.

Tried n tested for over 2 years - if needed I can get my ladder down to 30 Degrees over a bay window...
Footing is sooo much quicker I agree! Bit tricky if you work on yer own tho.
But hey ho.. the piccys might be of use to someone

excellent idea
id sharpen the tip to an angle point, same as regular spikes though
-
I toyed with sharpening them too (sparks flying in B & Q)
Anyway I've just googled 'ladder spikes' and this image came up!! Bad day at the office for him
-
Ruff day for him lol

I think its a great idea, be more use in the summer on hard grass tho?
I would look at making them into "true spikes" though!
Impressed matey.
