I joined the second week in January this year.
Cost was £500.00 + vat.
So far have had £800.00 worth of business referred + some good deals on leaflets as one member is a printer.
Also a solicitor who is a member is going to let me advertise with posters in his shop/office. As he only deals with conveyance deals I have great hopes!

Seams like a good idea at the time, i went to a couple of there meetings as a guest some 3 or 4 yrs ago. What you have got to realise is that its fine getting
refereals and hopefuly work from them, but the down side is that you in tern
have to try and get work for other members of the group. There is a certain amount of preasure involved, or there was with the group i atended, and therefor decided it was not for me.

To my knowledge you can join any group you want to and can guest out to others too..... So you may want to join in an area you would rather clean in as opposed to the nearest one...... I dont work anywhere near where I live.... Best, Dave.

left mine after first year
mainly because less and less people were turning up

also many start up businesses who could'nt gererate the kind of leads i wanted

did meet some very usefull contacts though

got about 3 times back in revenue than it cost

good idea

hope your local chapter does better for you

also the early mornings were not a big hit with me

Cheers Colin
I went as a guest and only 8 members turned up. Guess thats the reason for the recruiting drive.
I can see the point of it but at more per year than my YP I'm not sure it would make economic sense as well as the time involved.
Thanks for the feedback.

We went to a intro meeting the other week,

looked good, hard to put my hand in  my pocket for £500 but hay if you make it back, job done

My advice is to talk too all the members and fiugure out what the chances of the refferals would work, if the chapter is full of re'upholsters, carpet fitters, painters etc your on a winner, the one we went too was not so still deciding.

Hi James
Yes- it's too dear for a speculative punt. Only one from each trade allowed per chapter too.
Still not convinced.
Cheers
