My first question is will you use more water with 3mm jets compared to 1.2mm jets when the pump setting is left at 40 or am i right in thinking that it don't matter what size jets you have its the controller the determines how much water is used.
my last question is how are gardiners carbon fibre goosenecks measured is it tip to base or is it the reach from the bend ?
Thanks Paul

Would have thought jet size would effect flow.
You wont get as much pressure from the bigger size

Yes, the pump determines the amount of water used.
Gooseneck-measured from the bend-so, usable length.
Just measured my 25' and it's 25' from the bend to the end.
There's the depth of the bristle and stock too so the 25' would probably cope upto about 26' or 27' depth on the cill.

You wouldnt want 1.2mm jets running on 40 you cal value would need to be high, then the over spray would be large.
ok lets say you use 3mm on 40 with cal set at 65, then switch to 1.2mm you would need run at 25 with cal set at 50, yes you would use less water

i use 2mm jets at the moment but wanted to try 3mm jets after reading a recent thread but just wanted to check that they wouldn't use more water.
