Propane has a lower freezing point so most of us seem to use that.

Yeh thanks, i know that. Just wondering if it makes a difference to the boiler?

If it does, I'd imagine it was negligible.

I always used butane until someone on here mentioned the benefits of propane (lower freezing point) and it definitely seems better. I might be wrong, but the boiler gets hotter on minimum setting.

I only use the boiler when it's cold though, so I haven't used it for 10 months!

I have the boiler on summer setting and low, 40 - 50 degrees at boiler. so by sounds of it i would have to drop setting even more?
