Title: van insurance
Post by: johnny bravo on January 22, 2014, 09:09:41 pm
surprised at my ford connect insurance quote,  just van itself £600.    thats without water but storage or signeage if get any.     i know they start at 0 no claims bonus.     been driving for 16 years and no accidents.     any idea from any new van drivers who have recently insured a wfp van set up,    what would i be expected to pay,      age 50.

different vans = different quotes i presume.
test driven a connect,    great van,  same drive as my focus estate.      i think there price is a bit too high,    £3600 + vat,     45000 miles.   05 plate silver.     very tidy and full spec on this van.          need to consider the vat on £3600 + van insurance.
van advertised for £3999,      car dealer showroom.    i offered him £3200+vat.

theres times where you can rush in and find a cheaper deal later with same spec.

Wow that seems expensive.

I pay £500 a year for a 2007 toyota hiace.

I'm 26 and have 0 no claims on the van at the minute.

go compare,        has your van a wfp set up   in it.     ill visit an insurance office face to face in town and ask about different van insurance groups,   also van fitted with a water system.    also signeage adds £££ as well.

I thought signage saved pennies?

signage reduces your insurance by 10 to 20%
