Depends how you value your time and how much peace of mind is worth to you.

More in the mind of how difficult / time consuming is it?

It depends what you get for the price.. is it just a Tax return? is it a set of Yearly accounts or what?

Yearly accounts and tax returns.
Thanks, may stick with him for another year at least.
He did get us up and sorted with HMRC as self-employed and partnership.
No tax to pay this first year thank heavens!

Depends if they are Chatered Accountants if they sre that is a good price .

If they are just Accounting Technicans then do them yourself as they are no better than you or me doing them . Mike

Mine was £350 with a new accountant this year, which I thought was very reasonable.

My old one was around £800 1st year and didn't get much cheaper, which he said it would once he got his head round my system of recording everything.

This is just for window cleaning end of year accounts and a property I rent out.

Depends what you want and what you get.
I pay £150 per month, which a little while ago I would have said was
way too expensive. However, they save me a fortune and really help in lots of ways.
