What size tank do those of you that have 2 man set ups use to get a days work out of one fill?
Thanks in advance

We have 650l tank for 2 men and both controllers are set to 60 and very rarely do we run out, unless we work our little socks off! We do have a supply of 25l barrels just with 000TDS water in garage for emergency top ups.
Although if doing a few one off conny cleans we can struggle. Infact i have used nearly all but a drop on a long summers day on my own, a full day of houses and 2 very minging conny cleans!

I have one pump and one controller serving 2 poles and struggle to get a day out of a 650l tank, I wonder if two pumps and two controllers would somehow save water it would certainly make the flow better, anyone know?

depends on who finishes first. if its set at 60 and serves two and one finishes the front and the other is still cleaning all the power goes to one
also technique can play a part in the amount you use

I would have thought at least 650l, but prob a bit bigger. I have a 500l tank for my own 1 man setup, and i reckon i could manage with 350l, but no less. I have read on this and other(!) forums about problems using 1 pump and 1 controller. As far as i can see, the only way round this would be to use 2 pumps and 2 controllers which could be done, but obviously you would need 2 outlets on your tank. If i were to set up a 2 man system i would use 2 separate 350l tanks (upright) within the same frame, each with their own pump and controller.
