Hi,
Quick question.
The maximum I need pure is 650 litres per day. I'm planning to be constantly producing pure into a 1000 litre ibc and want to go for a pure freedom compact system, instead of twin DI only.
My tap pressure is 75 psi and TDS is 075.
Would a 450 GPD pure freedom ro get anywhere near 500 litres per day production with my tap psi?
If anyone does similar I would much appreciate their input, as I don't really want to spend £500 plus on a ro at the minute.
Thanks, Jonny.

Yes, no problem.
You will need to incorporate an automatic cut-off when the tank is full so you don't have to 'monitor' it. We had ours on a 50 psi tap pressure unpumped and it easily kept up with 2 window cleaners needs.

we just filter the the water through D I vessels straight into tank, and away we go ;D

The ro will save me money in the long run though. And be a lot less faff. Within ten mins my 650 tank will be full. Rather than waiting to slowly filter through DI vessels.

Thanks spruce. Which cut off did you use? I've seen a few, but the whole solenoid thing confused me. ???

Are you on a water meter ?

I thought the DI only guys filled the van tank with tap water and DI'd the water on demand?
Wouldn't take any time at all would it?

I'm not on a meter thankfully. :)

Yeah I used to do that. Got fed up of leaks in the DI though. Battery uses a lot less power not pushing it through the DI aswell.
