hi, can you buy replacement lids for 400 ltr tanks, I think I may have a leak...

I thought I had a leak in my lid but realised water was coming out of the air inlet valve in the lid, I put some duck tape over the valve on inside of lid and problem solved.  Could be worth looking at?

i have that problem will put tape over it.
The other thing why does lid have a vent when my system (all vantage mounted) has an over flow ?

The lids on wyedale tanks all leak , You will need to put a few holes in the tape their is reason for the air vent cant remember why . Mike

				plastic bag!!

cut a hole in it for the vent and screw on
-
The vent is there to prevent a vacuum forming and preventing water from being able to leave the tank, I thought tapeing it up might  cause a problem but it never has

my new tank whydale doesnt leak! not had a problem with it huge rubber seal inside it has a sprung loaded vent... but it seems to work fine.
