Hi All,

What % extra more than domestic prices do you charge for commercial work (hourly rate)?

Doesn't always be better .
Just price per window , price for time and then average it out .
Some commercial usually say what they can pay

I'm not really interested in commercial work if it doesn't pay better than domestic.

I have an average hourly rate that I try to achieve for domestic work... I have a few commercial sites to quote for this week - I'm thinking of quoting based on adding approx 30% to my hourly rate for the commercial work.

Not sure if that's about right?

I prefer commercial but you'll need to have all i's dotted with H & S etc. to get in.

Tends to pay more but mainly due to more work in one location thus less time spent travelling.

I make more on domestic because commercial is so competitive and stupidly priced around here.. and you don't have to wait for ever for the money either on domestic

I price commercials higher. Not by much, an extra £10, £20, £30 depending on size.

We do our commercials first thing, meaning we can start a little earlier and gets us off to good start for the rest of the day.

We can always do these on Sundays first thing aswell if were really behind with the work load which helps.
