u want to get the drain plugs out sharpish or punch a hole in the floor to let it out .  a lot of vans have electronics fitted in the floorboard areas

Nice one!
I was filling my tank in the van up with water a few months back, I use a transfer pump from my static, and, I got distracted doing another job!!!
I got the lightbulb idea, hit me like a hammer, realised I'd forgotten about the water. Footwells had a decent 6-7" and back of van was swimming too. So I stopped the flow, chucked out the pipe and drove up an incline just round the corner with doors open. Left it for a bit. What a proper turnip.
Lessons learnt. I don't do anything  involving while I'm waiting for the water to fill.

Last winter all my pipes froze so I in done them and put a heater in the van. Next door knocked about an hour later telling me water was coming out the van. I felt a right idiot I had forgot to close the tank outlet and it dumped most of the 500 litres in the van. It tools weeks to totally dry out. Lol

I use a kitchen timer *bleep bleep bleep bleep*  Van's full.  Obviously you need to know how long it takes to fill the tank up.

Good idea Tosh, although I usually 'potter' about in back of the van checking hoses are neat and tidy etc.
