I take all my gear out. Takes 10mins to empty van after work and seems to work for me.
-
Thanks for the replys guys, but not sure id like peeling the rubber seal?
And mate id never take all the gear at the end of everyday, fair play if you do but for me that is well unrealistic ;D

I am a bit ocd with my van. I have everything in containers so takes no time to empty. I work on my own so dont have much kit so that helps too. I cant think of anything else that would work will be interesting to hear other suggestions.

Can of spray carpet-glue and a couple of the foam/rubber camping exercise mats.
Cut mats to size, spray roof with glue, affix foam/rubber matts.....acts as noise insulation aswell ;).

So is the cord carpet wet?

Have read elsewhere that cat litter in socks helps. Sounds bizarre but I guess if the socks are hidden and it works then Bobs your uncle.

Yup! Might of been me. I've mentioned it on a couple of forums in the past.
Thin cotton football socks, fill with cat litter and tie them off at the top.
Have a couple of pairs filled, 2 pairs in use and 2 in reserve.
After a couple of days put the used ones on a radiator in the house to dry out and re-use again, while your reserve pairs are in use.....if that makes sense......sounds weird, but it works :).

500 watt oil filled radiator with thermostat works well

Get the roof ply lined too.
It's all about the metal of your van being cold and it being a bit warmer inside the van. I think.
-
Yep,, good answer , but is it a problem much .
As long as electrics etc are sheltered .
In vans with no bulkhead , I've heard condensation cause problems electronically within the dash board etc

That's basically what I was told.
After recommendation of a solution, I've just purchased a roll of loft insulation & a couple of rolls of silver foil lined bubble wrap, going to line the walls and roof using stickypins.
My brother in law done it to his transit, he says it works a treat.
