Hi, having read a lot of the threads on carpet cleaning and equipment used etc, Prochem equipment seems to be one of the top makes, what about Karcher carpet cleaners? would anyone recommend these and if so, what machine specifically would be the best of their range? Thanks in advance.

Think you will find karcher own Prochem, but if it coloured yellow, but DeWalt has a following (yellow) owed by B&D ;D

They are not bad small spotting machines.... Carpet cleaning?... Nah

Thanks for the replies......

roger, karcher is not a option when it comes to pro machines generally
look at prochem, alltec, ashbys etc,how much do you want to spend?what kind of work are you doing, all these things come into it
good luck

using a karcher to clean carpets is like using your undies to clean windows ;D

I'll nip on the window cleaning section and ask that very question, I'm sure I'll get some sound advice ;D

Hi Gary, thanks for your reply. I will definitely go for one of the makes you said, Prochem would be top of the list, i was just curious about the Karchers, I would imagine id spend up to two grand for a good machine, i would hope to get one of the makes you mentioned for that. I would be doing industrial carpet cleaning.
Thanks again.........

If it's commercial your better off with a cimex or buffer
