I'm not sure, Eco, but with a tds of 261 going in you should eventually be producing 2 or 3, l would say. My 4040 converts a tds reading of 360 to 1 or 2.

If he has a reading of 261 compared to your 360 and you get results down to 1 or 2, then how do you explain the fact that his Tds will be higher than yours at 2 or 3?

Does that go through resin to get it to 1 or 2

What's your pressure at the membrane? - this is not the same as the pressure at the mains, when you measure that it is at a 'closed' end, as the water enters the membrane some goes to waste with no resistance, so the entry pressure is lower than the mains pressure.  You should instal a pressure guage between the prefilters and the membrane for the most accurate reading.

I won't run it again now until after Christmas holidays. Between now and then got to install it in van.
