Haven't spoken to you in a while.
Are you well, looking forward to the big man, in the big red suit coming down your chimney?
Rob ;D
-
Coming "up" or "down" my chimney...any man in a big red suit is welcome. :o
Happy Christmas Rob ....are you and your family ok?
-
I have a 'santa suit'.
We are splendid Chris, Thank you for asking.
As you are my bessie friend on the forum I just wanted to offer you the same best wishes for you & the Scotts.
I missed out on the posting your invite to Chrimbo dinner, at ours so it will have to be next year now, sorry!
Rob ;D
-
Where have you been? Did you get the blaster going...are you any good with it ?
You should do the pressure washing coarse you had the idea about. I think between a few of the forum members you could gather enough info ,tips and tricks to make it viable.
Thanks for the christmas dinner invite but we have turkey and stuffing pot noodles and a prawn ring form poundland.

I've been busy till the end of November and then went to Thailand. Got back on Wednesday night. Look in the non cleaning section, on Chris Archers post.
Rob ;D
-
Excellent pictures!!! ;D ;D The foods really good eh? The road side cafes are the best.
-
The prices in the hotel were daft.
Starters, mains and a pudding - sticky rice with mango, for two - less than £20.00.
What do you think of Boom Boom?
Rob ;D
-
Some of the men are stunning if your that way inclined. They are better presented than most British women. I have had plenty good nights out with them...watching the tourist chatting them up! But that is as far as it goes for me....there are plenty of real Thai women ;D
Thai food is the best in the world...you just have to watch them for the chilli's. I like it hot but some of the salads blow you away...bit like your new friend. The fish is still flapping when it hits the plate and the use of fruit and meat in a single dish sounds bad but once you try it theres no going back.
The street vendors all sell sticky rice and fried chicken on little motorbikes...must be their fast food..KFC.
-
It is by a long way the best holiday I have had. Normally by about day ten/eleven I am thinking of coming home. Didn't want to leave this time!!
Had some interesting little critters from the vendors, drew the line at maggots!
Rob ;D
-
In Bangla Road there were some strange looking western men, who were obviously there for the 'girls'
There was some stunners but I had got Boom Boom by then and I have never been fussy!
Rob ;D
-
There was a couple of lads, completely ped who were chatting up a very long legged 'lovely'
I would have loved to have seen them the next day, when they realised what they had got themselves into!!!
Rob ;D
-
Did you go up to the Budda on the mountain?
-
I did.
We got blessed by the monk and got a little bracelet tied on the wrist by him.
My missus came away and said - does that make me a buddha now - I think she meant buddhist!
That is one very big buddha, taking their time with it though!
When did you go?
Rob ;D
-
Being playing with Kevin martin being as you were not allowed out .I suppose you will disregard me now you have a new "boyfriend" :( รักนาน

If you can get a similar look I wont be nasty to you, though I suspect you may already look not too different!!!
The Farrow System had a knackered diaphragm in the water pump, split in two places. We had also taken a non return valve off the tank because it was leaking, when we first used it, not thinking that it was relevant.
It turns out the non return stopped media going through the pipework, that is 1/8 inch, so got clogged up.
I was sold some glass media as well that was course and it was too heavy, this is what we ended forcing through all the pipework.
Had a nightmare trying to find someone to resolve the issues.
There is only one person i'm aware of that knows Farrow systems, phoned loads of people up in blasting to repair but nobody could.
Met up with a guy called Tom in Hull, bit of trial & error and he sorted it at very reasonable rates, just a long old day getting to Hull and back.
I probably know as much about the system and repairing it as he does now.
Got some spares for just in case and have a tonne of coarse glass for sale - you could use it for diamantes when you try to impersonate Boom Boom for me!!!!
Rob ;D
-
That took some reading.
Stop annoying kevin!!!
Rob ;D
-
Rob, do you have any technical drawings for your machine ? Fault finding is a lot easier with them
-
No mate
I managed to download a problem solving document, 8 pager but that doesn't come close to mentioning water pump etc and the obvious numpty factor!!!
It seems the Farrow agent, another Nigel has stopped supplying & assisting, bought out I think or ill health
Rob ;D

Try Greenleaf Contractors Ltd 07823 776569 can't remember the mans name who knows.
-
That's the guy Chris - Tom. He's part of the Ashrose Group as well, although that isn't what it seems to be.
I thought it was Hull, close enough
Genuinely nice guy, can't do enough to help out!
A lot like yourself ;)
Rob ;D
-
Rob is thailand that good as I'm going on 13th jan ;D
-
Where you off to David? It is pretty amazing, I was there this time last year before flying over to Sydney.
-
Dave
I always go, every year, at this time to an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean.
I wanted something different this time and decided B & B at a nice resort was worth the try.
Because of where our hotel was, about an hour from Patong & 20 minutes from Phuket my wife was concerned that it would be too quiet. I think she thinks she is young and happening!!
I knew it was all about the eating out in the tiny roadside & beach restaurants and couldn't wait to get there.
The hotel was superb, we originally booked the one that got hit by the Tsunami, the JW Marriott in Khao Lak but changed it because my wife is like that!
We had the best of both worlds, quiet in the day, virtually deserted beach and if we wanted busy we could get a taxi to Patong etc. The taxi drivers will wait for you and take you back to the hotel, agree a price first though.
The best eating I have ever had.
I did eat Thai every morning for breakfast and every night. If you don't eat in the hotel you will get a three course meal, for two, for about £25.00. In the hotel you will be paying £50.00.
Our hotel had a brilliant restaurant, above the pool, the best meal of the stay.
Worth every penny, get out and see the sights Dave.
As Neil has asked, where are you staying?
Rob ;D
-
Me and my wife are flying straight to Phuket for 6 nights, then fly to ko Samui for 6 nights then bankok for 2 nights we have booked the banthai hotel in Phuket, the Nora beach resort in ko samui and shanghai mansion in bankok
My step son goes every year and loves it, and after the very hard and sad 6 months that we have had we decided to get away just hope the weather is good
-
The weather was mixed for us but should be improved for yourself. Just come out of their wet season. We had a massive downpour (never seen the like!) and it rained 6 days out of 14 but only a couple of minutes to an hour at a time.
The rain never bothered, how could it, sat on a sunbed, getting burnt through the rain ;)
We looked at Koh Samui but the flight is a monster and I didn't want the additional flying.
Are you on the Dreamliner from Gatwick?
Hope you have a good time!
Rob ;D
-
No rob flying from Birmingham to dubi the dubi to Phuket then flying Phuket to ko samui it only takes an hour the again flying from ko samui to bankok hope the weather is good
We both need a good rest as I said the last 6 months have been very hard my mother in law was very ill and passed away 3 weeks ago and with the new business we brought which has been extremely busy it's made everything very stressfull
-
What was the new business Dave.
I am sure we have spoke about this but I have a head like a sieve!
Rob ;D
-
We brought the shop where my wife was working check out the fb page
Weighoutbarmouth.com
Look for the award voted in the top 100 shops in the world ;D
-
Is that hand sorted now?
Rob ;D
-
Oh that's another palarver they now want to fuse my fore arm but I'm refusing to have it done so for the time being I'm waiting to see how it goes but the short answer is NO :'(
-
Get in that sun next month, get one of those lovely ladies giving you a massage and forget your worries ;)
Rob ;D
-
Just as long as it is a proper lady ;D
-

Glad to help Kevin I like to see people succeed ...I hope you have shown your clients how apply it properly. Now that I have educated you with the correct procedure for application.
With all that market bullsh** that manufactures/suppliers come out with ,it's hard to know who to believe.
If I can be of assistance to you Kevin please feel free to contact me.

Thanks for that but I will take a raincheck on your offer. We consider it very important to only use people with considerable experience so that Delegates are taught correctly! By the way something crossed my mind, didn't we send you some Aqua Mix Enrich N Seal to try? If so try your Wet on Wet method with it ;D ;D

That rules me out then . I am a bit of a muppet who learns by his mistakes....but I bet I could make a better job of it than your man. Kevin did you train him yourself?
Do you not apply the Enrich n seal product till saturation and then remove the excess and allow to cure?

Then don't book a course and don't discuss anything else with me on any of the threads because if your SCEPTICAL then there is no point!
