You could do yourself as shouldn't be too hard plus instructions should be with the split charge relay should be fused in my opinion !

Make sure you 'fuse' every live wire to your system AS CLOSE to its battery connection as possible.

no there is not
is it as simple as just connecting pump wires to leisure battery, then running wires from battery to relay and then from relay to van battery?

This is one I use and i have never had a problem in 3years easy to fit and it's self switching is a good thing as when the main van battery has enough charge you hear the relay click and it switches over to leisure battery, I've never taken the leisure battery out the van to charge. As to your reply you need To run a live wire from van battery to the relay, from relay to leisure battery , from relay to earth but don't forget to fuse live wire. I thought it would of said 12v and earth symbol on the relay though for you to know where wires go? If you know what kind of relay it is try and google for instructions

Cheers for that. Just bought one, battery is under drivers seat so should be easy to setup.

No problem that will be easy to wire up and fit for you then as battery is easy to get to.
