I've put similar style gloves in the machine, cool wash, no problems, or hand wash them in warm water.

i always wear nitrile glove liners underneath.yes a bit fiddly but you soon get used to it.hands clean and dry.gloves dont stink.
in fact my girlfriend often comments how nice my hands are! ;)
i never used to wear gloves at all but ended up with deep ingrained carbon dust and dried out skin due to pure water and cuts and hard skin.
you just have to wear the nitriles IMO.

They wash fine. 40deg, dry on a radiator (use something to hold the wrist bit open so the air can get in and out).

try sainsburys multipurpose gloves £3.85 made of natural rubber
got a lining and dont stink your hands up

Turn them inside out before washing.

Any pics of them, Daz?
Preferably on your girlfriends bottom.
