Title: Gardiners email contact via website
Post by: Paul H on December 17, 2013, 06:24:46 pm
Anyone had problem in gaining a response from this system on their website?

Just queried whether I would eligible for some their new all weather pole hose which they are dishing out free if you've bought a pole in the last few months..

No response yet ... It's been a week

Wondering if there's a problem with that system

Or

I simply haven't been replied too

Mite try another one stating a want to by over 1k worth of stuff .. See what happens

I would call but then what's the point of that contact system for a simple query

The stiff CILL brush I bought the day later at £7.50 delivery is here straight away ,
Maybe out of stock ???

Think I ordered pole hose Friday  , and my brush the Saturday
The brush is here the hose isn't ??

I think deliveries are all over the place in general with xmas ..

Not sure that should affect email response to customers though

Kempy,I think it's 'second class' post for the pole hose.

I ordered my 'free' pole hose on Saturday 9Postage paid for)...still not got it yet  :(.

Placed an order yesterday afternoon for a few bits and bobs (free postage  ;))....arrived this morning  :).

The contact us page on our website has a message next to it that says:

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CONTACT US FORMS ARE NOT WORKING - PLEASE USE THE CONTACT DETAILS BELOW

This will be why you have not received a reply as the contact us form does not work. We are in the middle of transferring our website to a whole new software framework and have therefore not spent the time getting the contact us form fixed on the server.

Paul.....your not using the 'Contact Form' are you...as it's not working.

I did this the other week and wondered why I had no response to 4 or 5 emails sent....then I realised  :-[....

The 'free' pole hose and 'introductory offer' price pole hose is on a 7-10 day lead time (as stated on the Terms & Conditions of this offer) due to the high level of demand. This means that it is packed up and sent out 'as and when' between standard customer orders.

And as has been said above when it is sent out it is sent out via 2nd class Royal Mail to help keep the postage costs reasonable as otherwise it would cost a lot more to send. At this time of year of course Royal Mail can be all over the place. Any client wanting the pole hose offer quicker is welcome to ring up and we can upgrade it to next day courier for £7.75. Alternatively if it is part of a standard order of £45+ then it will be sent out for free.

I could've sworn I got a prompt saying your email enquiry has been sent one of team or whatever will respond ???

If d seen that I wouldn't have sent it .. Apologies for not seeing it ... Wonder how many others have made this mistake

Ok so It says you had to but a pole ..

Although not quite a pole it did buy numerous extensions and 60ft or so of red pole hose and connector ..so queried whether these component parts sold on your pole page would allow me to qualify for the all weather free hose ??

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul

Good job you asked on the forum about using the form!

The free hose offer is only for those who bought a complete pole (up to 50ft) in the last 3 months - spares & extensions do not qualify.

For all of our other clients we have the 30m reel at the offer price of £4.50  - at which price we are also losing money. However we want as many clients as possible to be able to try it out in a very cost effective way.

Thanks for the reply Alex

The forum seemed the best place to ask as ever to see if anyone had been having reply issues ... Which they have been on looking

Also you gave me a direct answer ...whilst the forum works for you to gain custom Amd promote a product ... It's affords us customers a platform in which we can gain a response as a customer and highlight problems and issues as customers and window cleaners ..

Thanks for the reply

Paul

Which is the same for any other supplier....if they also supply quality products and great after sales.

Alex is not putting posts up offering sale prices etc , he is just answering people questions and giving good customer service .

If that gets him more custom then good luck to him , he deserves it for making the effort.
