I bought a samsung 32inch smart tv at the weekend with my tips I did have to but a little to it myself but my tip paid for most of it

i always tip the local barbers as their just great and work long hours and provide a good service.never tipped a postie or bin man ever.although if i catch the local postie i will.i tend to give more to charities at xmas as well.
i always leave a tip when having a meal in a pub/restaurant all year round.
if we all give tips everybody has a bit extra at xmas ;)
-
I give lager to the bin men
And cash to a postie £5
We get tips so I feel it's unfair to not tip .
You must have some very kind custies a Dezmond getting that amount , unbelievable.
Think I'm approaching £100 and had a few gifts

D'you know, one of my best tippers (proportionately) is an old disabled girl who lives about 400 yards from some compact work but in the ground floor flat on a rough council estate and she has had grief off the local scrotes. (She's got a metal garden gate over her front door as extra protection and out the back it's like fort knox; side windows have grilles on them.)
Anyway she's out on her nut-truck a few years back and she pulls up and asks if I can clean her windows as she can't find anybody so like the christian I am I mentally judge her "by the cover" and think waste of time but some vestigial something kicks in and I say I'll pop round to price up.
Long story short I go round and she apologises (with tears in her eyes) for the fort knox stuff and explains how some "local youfs" had taken to "baiting her" but at least the police sorted etc. etc. and I take her on for £8.
She says I'm not paying £8; I'll pay £10 though because you've got to wait for me to open up (she's a bit slow-moving understandably). So it's a tenner every 4 weeks at first and last year she put her own price up to £11 and always encloses a tip of £10 with a card this time of the year.
No "not this time" or "can't afford it" or playing on her disability.
Lovely old girl.
