Hi robbo
just read your reply about using 50 metres of pole hose as your main hose reel - sounds a great idea !
How long have you used it for and how well is it wearing as they tend to get a bit of a rough life overall ?
Also how do you attach it to the hose reel itself - Guest adapters or similar ?
Cheers

Hi Simon
I've used the pole hose as my main hose for about 2 years, I know it's not for everyone but I think it works well.
On my reel at the moment I have about 40 metres of pure freedom's minibore hose and then i've attached 50m of Aqua-dapters red pole hose on the end. I usually never use more than about 50m for any house but the minibore is there if I need more. It just so happens that the pole hose fits neatly inside the minibore with just a 'O' clip to hold it. No leaks, no problems.
It's so cheap to buy that you should literally give it a go and if you don't like it then you've got some pole hose as a spare.
Need to know anything else just call me 07850 262016.
Cheers

Forgot to mention that I've never had a single leak or split in that time.

Thanks for that Pete, I think I'll look into it for sure in the new year as just about to have a hernia repair and will be off for a few weeks after xmas.
Anything to lighten the hosereel will be great and maybe get me back to work a bit sooner than they've said.
Cheers mate, have a good Xmas and Happy new year.
