Hi all.

After lots of investigating and with help from other forum members I have managed to get full details.

Paul's funeral is on Monday.

With advice from the police and other forum members in mind I have contacted Mrs French by phone tonight.

I have passed on to Mrs french the very sincere condolences of the members of this forum which has touched her deeply.

She seems a very brave lady indeed although obviously devastated by the untimely passing of her husband. Her son in particular has taken this very hard but she is trying to be brave for his and her daughters sake.

She desrcibes Paul as having been a very loving family man with a smile and a joke for everyone. His work was mainly domestic and he was very popular with his customers.

I took the step of contacting Mrs french on behalf of the forum in light of the little time left between now and his funeral.

She passes her thanks on to all here and says that it helps a lot to know our thoughts and sympathies are with her.

I myself am rather emotional right now and am finding this rather hard to type.

I am not really in a rational enough state to ask whether or not donations etc are in order and quite honestly don't feel up to organising anything more for now.

It has been an honour to pass on the feelings of the forum members to this lady. I assure you all it was done with dignity and was appreciated very much indeed.

I'm sure we all echo your word's.

It take a lot out of you, when you endevour to comfort someone, when they have lossed a loved one.

It will however mean a great deal to the family.

I must thank you for the kind words & passing our sympathies to Mrs French.

Its a very difficult thing to do, which i personally would struggle to find the words to talk to somebody after a such a tragic loss.

i thank you wholeheartedly for the time & effort you put into finding & passing on our sympathies.

it will be a very sad day for the family of this man
we all have to think about what we have and how very quick it can be taken away from us and our families and friends ,   just think that when you are having a bad day just think of the people that are no longer with us ,live your live to the full and tell your family that you love them each and every day even if you are not together        rip paul french
