can anyone tell me what a 'hot' system ideal temperature should be, thanks.
-
Don't worry about temperature.
Just about steaming at the brush works well for me.

When the glass cracks then back it down a bit. ;)

I asked for that! better add if anyone does have a figure is it celcius or farenheight? cheers.

Mine was serious bud.
Depends on ambient temperature...

Thanks Darren, I was laughing at the cracjked windows and back off a bit, classic, loved it.
Its just that I'm looking at aquarium heaters and wondered if around 80-90 degrees was hot enough. Cheers mate.

No worries. I'm guessing you mean-Fahrenheit?
The steam thing is about right.
100w per 100l seems like what a lot of lads seem to use...

aquarium heaters wont heat your water up much.luke warm at best at brush end.
-
also the temp at the tank wont be the same at the brush head, it will loose quite a bit

No more than 20degrees c above ambient temperature.
