can anyone tell me what a 'hot' system ideal temperature should be, thanks.

Don't worry about temperature.
Just about steaming at the brush works well for me.

I asked for that! better add if anyone does have a figure is it celcius or farenheight? cheers.

Depends on ambient temperature...

Thanks Darren, I was laughing at the cracjked windows and back off a bit, classic, loved it.
Its just that I'm looking at aquarium heaters and wondered if around 80-90 degrees was hot enough. Cheers mate.

No worries. I'm guessing you mean-Fahrenheit?
The steam thing is about right.
100w per 100l seems like what a lot of lads seem to use...

aquarium heaters wont heat your water up much.luke warm at best at brush end.

also the temp at the tank wont be the same at the brush head, it will loose quite a bit

No more than 20degrees c above ambient temperature.
