hi all.....at the moment i have a 250 litre tank setup with its own pump & controller, also a 50 litre trolley system with its own pump and controller. so 2 pumps & 2 controllers, i work with my wife she does mainly the downs while i do all the ups. i desperately need space in the van.
im looking at selling the trolley and purchasing a backpack for occasional niggly bits, buying a bigger tank, extra hose an reel and then us both working off of the tank at the same time,
will i need to purchase another pump and controller or can we both run off of the one pump and controller its a 100psi

you can both work off one pump so long as the hose on the reel is the same bore ie both 8mm or both 6mm

You can operate two lines from one pump. However it is likely that you may see preesure differences between the two lines. Water will always want to follow the easiest route this means that if the two poles are at different heights most pressure and water will flow to the lower pole, Feeding two lines will also mean the pump is working harder.
Ideally it would be better to operate a second pump and control giving each pole sufficient pressure and flow rates

thanks for that ian, that`s what i was thinking, (pressure difference) i think id prefer a dedicated pump and controller for each pole.
thanks tony

I'm working 2 people with one pump at moment I find the only problem is when one person stops their flow the other gets twice the flow suddenly. I suppose its not good economy for water usage as we use500ltr by dinner time. So iI will get an extra pump and bigger tank
