Yep. Don't know if Gardner's have changed pole hose in the last 2 years but the pole hose on my CLX purchased in May 2012 was brilliant, but the hose on my SLX bought a few weeks ago is much more prone to being kinky.

My current hose is quality in the summer but winter it kinks and tangles, just ordered the new stuff so looking forward to trying it.

I put a heater on timer for 5.30am every morning, by the time i get into the ban hoses are soft

Yep. Don't know if Gardner's have changed pole hose in the last 2 years but the pole hose on my CLX purchased in May 2012 was brilliant, but the hose on my SLX bought a few weeks ago is much more prone to being kinky.

We have just brought a brand new 'All-Season' pole hose that you can have for free if you have bought a pole within the last 3 months - http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/NEW----All-Season--Pole-Hose-8mm-OD---100m-POLE_HOSE_AS_FREE.html

This is so much better than the previous type.

I've got hot water too  ;D
Trouble was I just swapped poles and hadn't opened the valve yet.
