Title: Ovens - dip tank or steam cleaning???

Hi,

I am interested in cleaning ovens, and would like to know if anyone has tried both the dip tank method, and steam cleaning, and what the benefits are of each one.

I am favouring steam cleaning at the moment, however I am unsure as to which types of steamer I should look to buy. 

Any advice would be great.

Hi

I use a dip tank for all the removable parts, works well for me. Never tried steam, always thought it would produce too much water inside the oven.

I offer dip tanks, training and start up packages, give me a call for details if interested, contact details on website.

Thanks, I need someone who's tried both, as I know most think theirs no other way other than dipping, but I am not sure whether that is because they haven't tried steam, or because it 'actually' is better.

Apparently there is more mess with steam, as the dirt needs somewhere to go, but if you put cloths down then that wouldn't matter.  Steam seems to be able to produce more ?heat? than with a dip tank, and that may make it better.

I'm not sure what to do.  I'd much rather steam, as I'd be able to do that from my car, rather than a van.  But I soooooo unsure.
