This bad boy has decided to start leaking.
Whats the best connection for this elbow?

My van is like a swimming pool lol, if it wasn't for all the rust letting the water out I would get wet feet! That's not a leak ,condensation  ;D

Replace the orange ones with these.

But those elbows still leak.

Looks like the elbow needs replacing. I had to replace mine recently.

I had a leaky elbow once but a tap on the shoulder cured it.

wrap ptfe around the male end should be ok

i use rectus 26 connectors on this new radashe koreel reel.no leaks whatsoever even with very hot water.bulletproof.

If its a fixed hose reel that doesnt move in and out the van, you could always heat the hose and push it onto the fitting then 2 jubilee clips

Whats leaking ?
the orange female hoselock ? = easy change to a better quality one
or
the brass swivel / elbow ? = unscrew from the reel spindle and pack it with an extra washer ( pushes the elbow section that swivels against the threaded body more creating a tighter seal and stops it leaking )
