Am I missing something? Shouldn't they be trying to spruce up their stores to give a better impression to attract customers back in?

I'll stick to asda and tesco then

Here is what to do,
Everyone on here put a a note in one of those comment boxes in morrisons at your local morrisons or email the customer complaints in a month or so and say it put you off shopping in there how dirty the windows are.
"If the windows are left to get filthy then how can I trust that behind he scenes in food storage etc is kept clean?" It gives a extremely bad first impression and I for one will no longer be shopping at a dirty morrisons store.
Something along those lines will really rattle some cages and get the point made.
If there is enough emails/complaints etc.

Ian and Granville
I love the comments. I also love Jonny's idea of complaining via the comment boxes.

Quote: “Morrisons has decided to reduce window cleaning at stores because it is less important to customers at the darkest time of the year, ”
I wonder how many "customers" were really asked about their opinion? ::)roll

Our local Tescos use their own in-store cleaners to do their windows. I think (from what I've read here) that this is standard operational procedure for Tescos.

Cant wait to see the state of my local store then! its right on the sea front!

What you have to remember is that we, as window cleaners, take notice of the condition of various windows all over our local towns. BUT thats just us! IMO 99% of shoppers will not be bothered one little bit. A local asda store had the most disgusting dirty windows for about 6 months (look like someone had throw tomato sauce over them) Guess what? Always busy.
Stick with your domestics lads!

If any store has dirty window we should all phone in and complain.Whats that I hear you will not benefit if you complain. You are quite right but any business loss is a loss to our industry which no one will get back.WE need to stop seeing ourselves as individuals and doing a little for our industry and folk will have a better image of us all.
