Hi
I've replaced the 2 membranes on my merlin ro system, but still not getting any water(well just a drip) through to the tank, will it be the manifold thats had it or is there any thing else i can try?? many thanks
-
not an expert on merlins mate but was it working well before you changed filters?if so take them out and check everything again to make sure you haven't made a mistake-also flush the filters only for a good 5 mins before connecting to membranes
-
Have you taken the wrapper off the filters. ?
;D ;D ;D
-
LOL ! ;D
-
thanks, but had no water before these replacements(well they were 3 years old) so thinking it could be manifold (another £170, if i can get one) :'(
-
Could buy a complete 450 ro system with x3 membranes and 20" filters for £200 👳👳👳

There's no moving parts, etc, in the manifold to go wrong. It's all moulded plastic.
Are you sure the water pressure is high enough?
If I use mine indoors without the booster pump the water just drips out as well.

Hi mate, what booster pump do you use with merlin and whats your ppm before and after merlin ro??
Cheers.

Hi Danny where can i buy that from ?
-
Hi no booster pump, just plug in 4.2 bar water pressure, +/- 200ppm b4 was about 35 after!!
-
did you change the prefilters.
check there is good flow after the pre filters.
everything else on the RO can be washed/cleaned out. just do it one bit at a time.

Thanks all- cleaned rechecked yesterday to no avail, so looks like its got to be the manifold for some reason or other :'(
