8inch of snow could land this week...
Then it says " might see snow laying on high ground"

The papers are always printing stories like that, I wouldn't worry about it.

Lol.... It's the only way the express can sell papers.
They are never correct , they forcast 4 months of snow this winter
Starting second week of Nov.... Never happened.

With newspapers you have to follow the 5th paragraph rule. The have a massive headline about something then you read to the 5th paragraph and see what the story actually is.
Like this.
Headline: Bananas cause cancer
5th: Researchers found out that if feed rats twice their bodyweight in bananas every day for a month they have a 5% increase in cancers.

If you're short on time just skip the middle bit.  ;D

As for weather I predict it will get colder and start to warm up about March.

Winter will be colder than Spring, Summer and Autumn.

How anybody can read that rag the daily express (or the daily mail) is beyond me.

its really mild for this time of year , so far anyhow.. i hope I've not spoke too soon. lol
