Title: Zero waste filters
Post by: Cowboys on December 02, 2013, 01:23:32 am
Hi People, just wondering if any one has any idea how to produce pure water with out wasting any of it, the fast way, straight into the water tank? Instead of waiting for hours and hours before going back to work. What would be the best system to build or to buy. I have a 6 stage RO system meant to produce 300 GPD but I get nothing near 300GPD, the water pressure here is around 50 psi, I am tired of wasting water as well as waiting for the pure water to be filtered out. I came a cross some window cleaner and got  talking to him, he said that he paid near £10000 for his system and he could fill in his 250L water tank in about 15 minutes, I was amazed by his system build in his van, than I thought of removing the 10 inch 5 micron filter from the RO system and still I am thinking of removing the 5 micron filter hoping to get filtered water faster.
Any other ideas on how to modify my 6 stage filtering system.

Static ibc with stop valve. Constantly filling up so you've got water their when you need it.
