It is xenophobic but it's their culture to haggle.
My experience: go in high. You want your actual price to be roughly 2/3 of initial quote.
And get $ upfront.
The only Asian customers I have now pay a month in advance.
That way on the drive out there, I know I've already been paid.

You cant tar all asians with the same brush (haha pun)

But from experience they always seem to want something extra for nothing and we have been turned over by a few asains.

But then have any of them moaned to us...no. British white folk seem to moan about everything!

A few areas near me that are full of africans! Whi imo are The worst breed of customers by far. I also have a lot of asians too that are also hard work. I purposly steer clear of these types of areas as they are all as tight as bum holes.
Cant you drive 15/30 mins out and hit another area at all??.

Don't even think about it.  Seriously.  I have about four of these types and none of them are regular, and certainly none are four weekly - forget that!

Best avoided, unless the daughters are pretty, but tbh, if you're caught poking one of them, then the risk of acid being thrown in yours and their faces is too high to be worth it.

What you need are the Hyacinth Bucket types in your round.

I've got a Chinese customer and she's spot on.  Only 8 weekly mind you...  But she's otherwise velly good.

Had another Chinese who I did a job for and didn't hear from again, and hadn't paid, then came back from Hong Kong and paid up ok.

The proper orientals aren't a problem, IMO, it's the ones who originate half way between here and China that you have to watch.

My observation with other nationality. Pakistani I cannot get there handle as they never commit to anything. And try to screw me all the time.Indian good customers if they are born in the u K.They will treat you like poo if born in India as its normal to speak to a servant as they wish in the home country. Both will haggle. I tell them its bad manners to haggle on any service industry in the U K as it does not come in bulk, therefore no discount
African expect it for nothing and are not house proud. Polish I find good customers and pay well. They do take pride in there homes.   Chinese are good and pay promptly. All the other far east don`t clean windows and would normally clean there own window.Americans are very good customers and pay well.
Normally if the said nation has a lot of cheap labor in there home country they are not be inclined to want to pay to clean windows.

I find Martians pay quite well.  But they do look at me in a weird way, with those six eyes, fifteen ears and green skin.

A lot of the cleaners who charge lower prices tend to be trad so just explain how you will do all there frames, cills, doors, garage door etc and win the customer at £10 front.

I've some work in the East End and I'd pretty much agree with that except I tend to find proper Indian customers pay no trouble at all where as the Bangladeshi and Pakistani (ex) customers either want extras done for free, and won't give up untill it is done, or they expect the earth for the first clean and never have their windows done again.

That s right ! In welling some well established wfp cleaner ( with at least 2 vans) charge only £6 or £7 for the front . How is your canvassing going? Definetely harder to get customers to commit monthly at the moment . But I do getl one  off and every 8 weeks.

Welling is verey cut throat though hundreds of window cleaners there!
I havnt canvassed for ages mate as am totally full with customers now.
If i was you id hit shooters hill end of plumstead, one of the areas that i planned to hit and canvass as done a lot of research round there especialy  around roads off herbert road, herbert road isnt the nicest of roads but roads off have good potential as are busy with lots of front only and 1 up 1 down flats(maisonets).
Go and hit it ;-)

I only do work for them if they accept my very high quote. Even then I will insist on getting paid on the day. It's a win win, you don't really want to be arsed with them, so if they decline your high quote you have lost nothing. If they accept then your quids in
