hi i dropped my backpack and its split on the base where pump and switches are mounted its along the join quite a neat split is there a glue or welding kit for plastic i can purchase from any of the main suppliers or any other advise please
-
Its a bit tricky the first time you do it but a soldering iron will seal it.
-
I think i would look at maybe fiberglass.
-
what i done was ,get a 2inch bracket from ironmongers .about half inch wide .get hammer to straighten it output it on were split is.n drill holes .small nuts n bolts .job done better job than glue or gaffa tape .
-
Which one is it ?
-
If its wcw one i have some bases laying around in my unit
-
Its a esr505c the split is about 3 inchs long so a soldering iron would be quite trickey anyone heard of ct1 or used it

Yeah a fibreglass repair kit would probably do it: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIBRE-GLASS-RESIN-REPAIR-KIT-ALL-IN-ONE-LIKE-DAVIDS-FASTGLAS-BIGK1-/221258839487?_trksid=p2054897.l4276
