Noah (off of the bible) called.
He said it wasn't that good at cleaning Arks.
£200?!!!
-
How much are they new then?
-
Yep, thought so, Over £400
So, what ya thinking now?

4 years old and you want £200 :o You should be wearing a mask. Try ebay you get some clueless folk on there.

I am thinking that that an absolute rip off but some moron may pay you if they are a spastic.
And it's either 35ft or 40ft not 35 TO 40ft.
And for £330 you can get a brand new slxII.
-
Rip off, EH, what you talking about , remember, LIGHT USE, and you wont find a pole as good as this for £330 .
This pole should earn someone a small fortune.I have jobs that take 2hrs that would purchase this pole.
So what the hell are you two on about.
what would you two, suggest price wise then, and remember I live in the south east ,
not Wales.
-
Oh, just noticed where your both from, so yeah £200 is probably beyond you , but down here believe me it is peanuts for a tool that WILL EARN hundreds of pounds in no time. so maybe you should stick looking at items north of Manchester.
-
35ft length 40ft when held. unless your a midget.
-
you would be lucky if you get £100
-
On Ebay they have sold at around £250.00
On here a dodgy one went for £80.00
If someone has not got the extra £130. for new pole then this would be a good choice.

Last time I looked new poles cost the same, no matter what part of the country you come from ;D
-
Yeah maybe , but if they aint they aint. And....no, THEY, would be lucky if they got it for £100.
Look if you want a 40ft pole for work all day , yes I agree.Although I believe a 35ft pole is more like £450. But if you want a pole like me for every now and then, this is an excellent quality pole , that will last for at least another 5 yrs or more. OR, you can go spend £330 on a piece of crap, LET THEM DECIDE, not you lot of, got nothing else to do mob. Yawn, yawn, yawn ,yawn,........ yawn
-
Lol.
I'm from Kent, Whitstable.
I ain't poor fella.
Guildford is just full of squaddies and sleepers anyway.
No one in their right mind would pay what you're asking.
Technology has come on in leaps & bounds since this came out.
I dare you, get the person who buys it to post how much they paid-not what you say you got for it or what it's worth.
I bet you're thinking if 'keeping it as a spare' right now.
-
CLXII 27, £159 + 2 extensions £72 +VAT =£277.
-

And no, I won't find a pole 'as good as this' the SLXII is miles better for £330.
So £330 SLXII
Or £277 CLX
Or for literally a couple if hours money saved you can buy a 4 year old pole.
4 years use.
4 years older technology.
I've got no beef with you, I don't know you but your price is unrealistic.
My initial post was meant tongue in cheek (as most of my posts are)
But I think you're feeling a bit sensitive cause someone had noticed that you may have made a mistake in asking so much.
By comparison, an 80ft pole went on eBay recently for £500...
-
Your losing me mush. 1st what is a sleeper. 2nd I never said you were poor. 3rd you have not upset me.
Technology what you on about yes, there lighter, and the clamps have changed, so what, it is a pole.
For someone who does not own this size pole, this is a bargain that will last yrs , and who cant afford a new one.
If YOU, dont want it, get lost and let me sell it to someone who does, and if I dont then yeah I will keep it, ,problem with that, no , not for me either, but thanks for your input as unwelcome as it was
Alan
PS, this pole would be great in Whistable, as it is so fxxxxxx heavy the wind and rain wont effect it.
Now -iss off!
-
AND, who wants a pole that they have to fit extentions to, on a 40ft pole, PLEASE!
Alan
-
Did you get your period?
Sleeper is autocorrected by CIU.
Lol-you're not wrong about the weight.

Personally I would advertise it in the miscellaneous section of Ebay... someone might pay £200 for a harpoon that's been washed up on the beach. ;)
-

Yeah Alex, extreme poles are crap.
I tie a weight around the top of mine to make it work properly.

I really dont understand MOST of you lot , interesting post on issues forum this morning re what is happening to this forum. I agree and was going to submit the same today but he beat me to it.
Look, back to this pole. If a window cleaner does not own a pole of this reach, then now he could, yes it is 4yrs old BUT it IS in very good condition with new clamps.
I would not rip anyone off EVER. This pole has earned me good money as I charge more to clean high windows . I dont undertake much 3 /4 storey work as I dont want it. But sometimes this pole has come in very handy indeed. IT will last for many more years on light use WHICH IS WHAT IT IS MEANT FOR, not throwing around all day. It will pay for itself in time , and earn someone a good profit.

Good points made there.
I'll give you £330 if you pay postage.
I can make that back in less than 2 weeks so everything after that will be pure profit.

Everybody , yes, this pole IS HEAVY, but it does not mean it is crap, it has served me well for 4yrs. And there is another 4yrs left in it no problem. It is not a pole to use all day that we know , but, it is ideal for domestic windows when you have 3/4 storey town house ETC ETC. The weight can be a benefit, some of these NEW poles are to light at height and WILL NOT STAND THE TEST OF TIME. This pole has, and will continue to do so.
I am not here to rip anyone off, someone may want it, if not , no problem but why cant I, at least offer it without KNOW ALLS sticking their nose in . I really do wonder how many of these are REALLY PRO WINDOW CLEANERS. Because, who has the time.
-
I live about 20 minutes away from Guildford - I wouldn't pay £200 for it... I have a friend in Wales who said he wouldn't pay £200 for it either.
Stick it on eBay and see what you get?
-

Pristine , ignore all the knockers mate . You get as much as you can for the pole , I know I would and so would every one else on here . If those viewings don't work out let me know and I will have it off you . I think it's worth £ 20 all day long , would this also include delivery . Cheers barry .
